是目前加利福尼亚最炙手可热的Bass音乐组合之一

他们在Facebook上已经积累接近50万粉丝

在Youtube上则拥有30万多粉丝

2013年的时候，亚裔男孩Matt已经成为了一位音乐制作人/DJ，当时Tessa还是一名模特，之后他们因为对音乐的共同认识而走到了一起，现在他们已经结婚是真正的夫妻档。他们不仅仅是普通的DJ，他们是真正的现场表演者！

在做音乐之前，Tessa Lizz是一个很有魅力的模特，在许多杂志上都有过，包括花花公子、Maxim Espanol，FHM泰国等等。同事也是一名超级纹身爱好者。

富有天赋的她很快也会在舞台上表演。玩手指打击垫的自然是Lizz，她疯狂的手指技巧给Arius的形象带来了独特的东西。 Dubstep的大神Excision，分享了Lizz着名的手指敲击视频之一，将她最受欢迎的歌曲“X Up”和Messinian重新remix，Lizz说她都高兴的哭了。

而征服她的亚裔男孩Matt不仅是位音乐人，还是可以惊艳到你尿裤子的超级舞者。Matt曾获得美国ABDC街舞大赛第五届冠军。之后他们拍摄的Bass Down Low 的小视频结合了电音X街舞，在Youtube上一举突破了200W的点击量。

在他们的艺人生涯中，为何鼓机/MIDI控制器/舞蹈的占比要比一般的DJ高得多？这也是个不难回答的问题。Arius厌倦了无聊的EDM商业模式，大家只是放放音乐，而他们觉得接歌实在是太简单了，他们想在现场玩一些更牛逼的东西，刚好，他们用实力证明了自己可以把现场玩得更酷。

虽说Arius并不是以作品为傲的组合，但事实上他们音乐做得非常棒了，我们不知道为什么没有搬运工去搬运他们的音乐，所以在国内播放器上你可能听不了几首他们的歌。这说起来有点不太科学，因为他们已经非常火。在这个时代，涉猎音乐风格广，似乎是有利也有弊的，Arius早期发行了不少Progressive House/Electro House/Electro Bass/Bass House/Deep House，但当他们开始接触Festival Trap/Trap/Hip Hop/Dubstep/Brostep/Drum & Bass之后，你才知道轰炸机已经被激活。

我们真的找不到理由去否认Arius，除非你只追求DJ Mag百大DJ，那我们也没什么好说的。但不管是从音乐质量/现场，还是从任何方面来说，你都能轻而易举地理解为什么他们能火得这么快。有种音乐适合在家去欣赏，而他们适合现场，这就好比菜的烹饪方式的不同吧！去看演出最怕的不是精疲力尽而是无聊的要死，目的不都是追求一个开心吗？

Matt Nguyen and Tessa Lizz might just be the cutest couple in life and in business, as they make up the dj duo Arius. Matt and Tessa met five and a half years ago and their relationship has developed into something extraordinary. The two have been performing together for the past three years specializing in finger drumming in Asia and the US.

This bass head duo was created through their love for music. The year 2013 is when they made the decision to pursue their dream, working to create something original and unique to bring to the scene. Currently, DumboNTess remix’s on sound cloud have reached over 5,000 downloads. They have shared the stage with some big name well respected DJs such as Ferry Corsten, Vinai, Dyro, Habstrakt, Joyryde, Lamberjck, DJ Stellar，Willy Joy, etc. DumboNTess are known for their dirty and grimy bass style; Electro, Trap, Dubstep, and Drum n Bass. 

They are not just your average DJs, they’re true performers. Before the music… Tessa Lizz was a glamour model that has been featured in many magazines including Playboy, Maxim Espanol, FHM Thailand…etc . Little did they know that very soon, she would be taking the stage as well. Finger drumming came naturally to Lizz, and her crazy finger skills bring something unique to Arius’ image. Excision, a dubstep mastermind, shared one of Lizz’s famous finger drumming video’s remixing one of his most popular songs, “X Up” featuring Messinian and Lizz responded saying that she was so happy she started crying.

Matt Nguyen (more commonly known as Dumbo) began performing live with ‘Poreotics’ dance group– champions of the 5th season of America’s Best Dance Crew. Together their crew took the champion title of ABDC Season 5, after becoming a world recognized dance crew. They traveled the world performing and opened for Justin Bieber and Bruno Mars tour. They were featured in many music videos and film. They appeared in Step up 5, and music videos with Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, G dragon…and is also a Judge for Vietnam Got to Dance.

This duo keeps their origionality by having Tessa Lizz on the Maschine finger drumming and rapping to their own original tracks, Dumbo putting on a performances with his dancing, and creativly mashing up tracks live right on the spot. They stay away from the mainstream music, striving to be different by filling their show with utmost entertainment.

“Our goal as a pair from day one has been originality. We want to be different. Anyone can download a hot festival playlist to DJ but not anybody can go on stage and bring what we bring as Arius.” You won’t want to miss these two coming up next month in China to witness some finger drumming and their connection in the flesh and through the speakers.
